We are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a great team and become a part of the continuation of Hyro’s success in the market Duties & Responsibilities - Senior J2EE/J2ME developer required to work as part of a team responsible for Enterprise level B2C and B2B multi-tiered eCommerce system. - WAP development using J2ME - Developing other software, generally using Java, systems engineering, configuration management, application delivery support, testing and documentation for a number of large leading enterprise clients and government clients in New Zealand. - Provide a record of time spent on billable and non-billable activities upon request. - Utilize good SDLC practices - Interact with the client to analyse and understand requirements, develop technical requirements Participate in Hyro-approved open source development projects. These will be determined each calendar quarter - Mentor the younger developers in the team Support the team lead when he is away Required Skills (Commercial ecperience) - J2EE (JDBC, JSP, JMX, JMS, - Swing, EJB, Hibernate ) - J2ME (WURFL, UAProfile, WXML) - Application Servers (JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache) - Technical Analysis Skills - Experience with Symbian OS - Database skills (SQL and Stored Procedures) - Some Web development experience - Websphere, Weblogic or Fusion, - Client Facing experience is a bonus. - PM or BA skills are a bonus In return, we offer an attractive base salary, salary packaging options and employee benefits under our Members Lifestyle Scheme If this sounds like you then please forward your CV with supporting application letter.
