Teach English in Korea - professional NZ company World English Service Ltd NZ is directly accredited to many of the govt offices of education in Korea. For public schools you can select the level you want to teach[elementary, middle and highschools ] We have jobs on offer all year round in public schools or private institutes. Qualified couples/ partners/friends wishing to live together are welcome to apply for dual school The minimum requirement for appointment: To have completed a bachelor's degree. Be a native English speaker, [You must have been taught in English in one of the 7 qualifying countries from Year 8 up.] Have a passport from one of the approved countries only [NZ, Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland and South Africa] Be in good physical and mental health. Have no criminal record -[Since 2008 aplicants have been required by immigration to get a police check done to teach in Korea] Excellent Salaries and Benefits 2 - 2.8 million Korean won [$2700NZ - $3800NZ] a month [dependent on your qualifications]general tax less than 3%. No general taxes for NZrs in public schools. Employment medical insurance provided at 2.4 % of your salary a month A completed 12 months contract entitles you to receive an additional months salary as a bonus Rent Free [non share] furnished private housing provided Return airfares funded by the employer. 14-21 days paid holiday Company directors Marilyn and Chris are both very experienced NZ teachers with Masters degrees in Korean education and Business.
