Flight Safety Trainer

POSITION IS LOCATED IN AFGHANISTAN

Main Liaison:
Internal:
Chief of Safety, Maintenance QA, Chief of Maintenance, Chief Pilot,

External:
US Army Combined Joint Task Force, Senior US Military Officers, NATO/ISAF, Afghan Civil Aviation Authority, Afghan Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation, Afghan Ministry of Defense, other company business units
Prime Objective:
Instructs, implements and refines the company safety programs towards safe and successful flight operations across various different contracts
Key Tasks:
Conducts aircrew local area orientation briefings
Introduces aircrew to the company's Safety SOPs
Develops safety based lesson plans
Instructs on a variety of safety topics, both aviation and theater oriented
Liaises with customers to develop mutual safety procedures and SOPs
Researches safety trends and develops recommendations and training inline with current situations
Maintains training records and lesson plans
Provides complete ground safety training, FOD, Torque Control, etc
Preferable Skills and Qualifications:
Russian language abilities
