Customer Service Assistant Manager (Logistics)

POSITION LOCATED IN AFGHANISTAN.

USA Interviews Sept 18-20th.

Responsibility for Staff:

•Accounts Supervisor
•Stock Controller

•Suppliers
Prime Objective:
•Promote "Best Practice" customer service through the timely and accurate processing of all customer order, and the fast and decisive response to all customer enquiries.
Key Tasks:
•Over sees all expiry issues to avoid losses by the company.
•Recommends course of action needed to avoid losses and instructs Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) on procedures to avoid the loss.
•Recommends substitutions in coordination with the Supply Chain team Procurement team and CSM.
•Informs customers of the substitution recommendation for dissemination to ordering point customers.
•Coordinates communication between Joint Logistics Command (JLC) and SFS on all ordering issues and procedures.
•Tracks all road deliveries and provides updates to the customer in a timely manner.
•Coordinates reported losses with Finance and Transportation offices for compensation.
•Provides all documentation need to support any claims.
•Documents all operating instructions,
•Maintains the documentation to insure it is current with directives and procedures and insures conformity to instructions.
•All other duties as required by the CSM or the DGM.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
•Educated to a minimum A level standard.
•Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
•Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to prioritise workloads, and be both proactive and reactive.
•High degree of data entry accuracy.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Desirable:
•Experience in a customer service role.
•Experience in a FMCG environment.
•Experience with computerized order entry and inventory system.
