Unit Manager (Catering) POSITION LOCATED IN AFGHANISTAN. USA Interviews Sept. 15-20th. Responsibility for Staff: Responsible to: Catering Contract Manager or Catering General Manager Directly: •All Company Catering Staff working in the Unit Indirectly: •All company Staff or contractors from Unit Support Team working on site temporarily ( Maintenance, Pest Control, QA , etc ) Main Liaison: Internal: •Catering Contract Manager or Catering General Manager •Customer Service Department External: •All Customers, Military P.O.C. Prime Objective: •Responsible for all aspects of the Catering Operations of the Unit, according to the client contract specifications and within the S.O.P. laid down by the company. •Responsible to maintain the Food Budget on the target given by the company management. •Responsible for managing company Staff working in the Unit. Essential Skills and Qualifications: •3 years experience as Catering Unit or Site Manager. Self / Time Management. •Ability to work independently and as a team member. •Communication skills - in English, both written and oral. •Understanding of customer service. •Ability to work in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment. •Ability to demonstrate foodservice business acumen with customers. •Sound knowledge of international food products. •Sound knowledge of HACCP and ISO 9000 standards. •Can adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines. •Information Technology literate. •Drivers License required.
