| Commercial Foreign Exchange BDM Business Development Manager - Commercial Foreign Exchange • Work for the global market leader in Foreign Exchange • Blend of cold calling and supplied warm leads • Great Salary package with uncapped commissions Our client is the global market leader in commercial foreign exchange and due to growth they require a dedicated Business Development Manager to join the local teams. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities. The BDM is responsible for setting appointments, attending meetings and establishing the account. The account is then managed jointly by the BDM and Dealer (Melbourne based) according to currencies, financial objectives, market movements etc. The role has a purely corporate focus and deals with CFO/CEO level of SME's and Managing Directors of smaller enterprises. The BDM will be responsible for generating new business growth out of Western Australia and will be based from home in Adelaide. New business revenue is the primary measurement of the role. Qualifications/Skills & Experience: Essential: o Entrepreneurial/innovative attitude with high levels of self motivation and desire to succeed o BDB sales experience at key decision maker level - Managing Director, CFO, COO, CEO o Ability to close a deal with a win-win outcome o Opportunity evaluation and the ability to tailor a pitch/value proposition to meet the clients compelling need o Financial knowledge - how numbers work; FX knowledge is a big plus o Valid driver's licence and own vehicle o Effective time management skills o Ability to work autonomously o Ability to negotiate with high level clients regarding fees, rates etc. o High degree of professionalism and personal presentation Desirable: o AFMA / PS146 accreditation o Tertiary business qualifications or self employed o Previous strategic/solution sales experience (product based sales achievers traditionally fail in this role) o Previous experience selling within the financial marketplace - FX, banking, financial planning, shares etc. To apply for this exciting position please submit a cover letter along with your resume. | |
