Java Script Guru Description JavaScript Guru • Work with one of the best Online Consultancies in the industry • Fantastic company culture within CBD location • Career opportunity for the right applicant Our client is currently seeking an experienced web developer with strong JavaScript/CSS/(X)HTML skills to join its expanding team. This highly skilled role requires an individual who insists on keeping up with the latest advancements in the evolving realm of JavaScript programming. A qualified candidate will have a passion for web standards, and the know-how to apply them successfully in client-side and server-side web development. You will work both individually and as part of a team on a variety of internal- and external-facing Web 2.0 applications and libraries. Your creativity, attention to detail and commitment to quality will assist in the creation of the next generation of enterprise-level predictive and preventative maintenance applications. Requirements: * Extensive experience with advanced, Object-oriented JavaScript programming. * Hands-on experience with current popular JavaScript packages such as Prototype, Script.aculo.us, jQuery or the like. * Experience and understanding of AJAX methodologies. * Practical experience applying technologies like DHTML, XHTML, and CSS. * Knowledge of browser compatibility issues when using JavaScript and CSS, and intimate knowledge of relevant W3C standards and best practices. * Experience with Object-oriented server side languages such as Java or PHP. * Excellent communication skills. * Eagerness to learn and implement new technologies. * Enthusiasm about the possibilities that AJAX affords. * Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment. * BA/BS Degree or equivalent related work experience.
