| Consultant Psychiatrist Consultant Psychiatrist Permanent, full time Lakes District Health Board, New Zealand Lifestyle balanced with professional excellence! The beautiful Lakes District of Rotorua is well known for its outdoor recreational options including trout fishing, walking tracks, cycling and mountain biking .Lake and river water sports such as boating and kayaking are exceptional. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our multinational multidisciplinary team. You will be working in the community with a wide range of adult general psychiatric problems. You will have experience in Adult Psychiatry in a system similar to New Zealand (e.g UK). We have an accredited Registrar Training Programme, good links to NGO (Non Governement Organisation) support services, psychologists as part of the MDT and manageable case loads. There is scope to use a traditional, adapted traditional or “new” way of working within your team. Applicants must be eligible for the Specialist (Vocational) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a recognised postgraduate qualification such as FRANCP or MRCPsych. The above positions come with an attractive relocation remuneration package and CME allowance for successful permanent appointments. | |
