Medical Officer Taupo Medical Officer (MOSS) Taupo Hospital We currently have a permanent vacancy for an experienced and energetic Medical Officer to work on a rotational basis in our Medical Unit and Emergency Department. Working within a team of five Medical Officers and two Consultants, you will be responsible for providing a professional clinical service to achieve best patient outcomes. Lakes District Health Board operates a secondary level hospital at Rotorua and a smaller rural hospital at Taupo and is responsible for providing health care to the Rotorua, Taupo and Turangi communities. This position comes with an attractive remuneration package for a successful permanent appointment. Relocation assistance will be negotiated. Rotorua and Taupo offer an array of lifestyle options, with world class recreational facilities, trout fishing, summer beaches and winter ski fields are within 2 hours drive. The District has a population of over 100,000 people. The natural attractions and special events held in Rotorua and Taupo make this a popular destination for both international and NZ visitors.
