Midwife Positions (Rotorua) Considering broadening your nursing/midwifery experience overseas but don’t want to emigrate? Then Lakes District Health Board New Zealand may be offering exactly what your looking for – a 12 month contract with Return airfares and 2 weeks paid accommodation. Opportunities exist for Nurses in a variety of specialties and Midwives who are eligible for New Zealand registration.The Rotorua Hospital Maternity Unit provides primary and secondary care support for approximately 1,600 births per year. The team enjoy a positive and friendly environment and there are opportunities for further professional development. We are looking for midwives who enjoy autonomous practice, and have an understanding of the midwifery framework within New Zealand.
